I never gave it that much thought
The future me
Autopilot more often than not
A foggy sea
Then one day
I opened my eyes
And what did I see?
A building on fire
My whole life collapsing in on me
I tried not to panic
Lay low, as my father used to say
I picked myself up and
I tried to get out my way
Do you know what I mean?
The future seems so far away
Until it's not
Some memories get erased
While some burn hot
Then one day
I opened my eyes
And what did I see?
A building on fire
My whole life collapsing in on me
I tried not to panic
Lay low, as my father used to say
I picked myself up and
I tried to get out my way
Do you know what I mean?
I used to worry about death
And consciousness
Now I'm concerned about
Lacking confidence
Then one day
I opened my eyes
And what did I see?
A building on fire
My whole life collapsing in on me
I tried not to panic
Lay low, as my father used to say
I picked myself up and
I tried to get out my way
Do you know what I mean?
I have been a listener of Luxury since ‘Amazing and Thank You’ Lee’s thoughtful lyrics the instrumentation and raw emotion have always drawn me to this band. So far on this album I enjoy One of Those Things (Or) The Temple. Great job! jason hendry
